Character Breakdown
Noises Off:
1. Garry Lejeune: An American actor who's always completing his sentences with "you know". He's temperamental and romantically interested in Dotty.
2. Frederick Fellows: An American actor who's afraid of violence and blood. He's often unsure of his lines and moves, and blames himself when things go wrong.
3. Dotty Otley: A late middle-aged grande dame who's forgetful and has a relationship with Garry.
4. Mrs. C;ackett: The Brents' old-fashioned housekeeper who's slow but hospitable.
5. Roger Tramplemaine: An estate agent who's engaged to rent the Brents' house.
6. Brooke Ashton: An inexperienced actress from London who's part of the Lloyd-Poppy-Brooke love triangle.
7. Vicki: Works for the tax authorities and tries to woo Roger.
8. Lloyd Dallas: The director of the play-within-a-play who's part of the love triangle with Poppy and Brooke.
9. Belinda Blair: A cheerful and sensible character who can be a bit over-sentimental.
10. Seldon Mowbray: Plays the role of a burglar
11. Poppy Norton-Taylor: The assistant stage manager and understudy to the female roles. She is emotional, skittish, and over-sensitive. Poppy is part of the Lloyd-Poppy-Brooke love triangle and, by Act Two, is pregnant with Lloyd's baby.
12. Vicki (Brooke): A girl Roger is attempting to seduce (or perhaps a girl trying to seduce Roger) in the play-within-the-play, "Nothing On."
